Prompt Formatter
An AI prompt standardiser, shipped in 2025 at pformatter.com. No longer maintained; the domain no longer resolves.
Context

What it was
Prompt Formatter took a messy prompt and standardised it — structure, sections, consistent formatting — so it could be reused instead of rewritten each time. It shipped publicly at pformatter.com.

v1 launched on 2025-05-03. It detected the task type, loaded a matching template, and let you set the role, use case, tone, target model and language (Vietnamese, English, Japanese). It also kept a library of saved prompts and could open the result directly in ChatGPT or Gemini.

What actually happened
Built from 2025-04-11, last pushed 2025-11-03. The domain no longer responds.
It was a thin layer over a model’s own capability, which is the category that ages fastest. The standing rule that came out of it — no generic AI or LLM wrappers — is now written into the criteria I score every new idea against, and it has ruled out several ideas since.
Why it is still listed
Because a portfolio that only shows the things that worked is not evidence of anything. The launch post from that period is still on the blog: How I Built and Launched Prompt Formatter v1.
