Context

What it does
Upload the payment, order and shipping-label files from Etsy, eBay, Amazon and Shopify, and see what each order, SKU and channel actually earned after marketplace fees, shipping and cost of goods — not the gross number on the marketplace report.
Version one reads CSVs. No marketplace API, so no waiting on developer-account approval before a seller can find out whether they are making money.

Who it is for
Solo and small-team multi-channel sellers who currently compute margin in a hand-built Google Sheet — including the ones who lost their sub-$20/month plan when Craftybase became Stocksmith, raised prices and dropped hobbyist crafters.
Where a product uses AI, it runs on the customer’s own API key — Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter — and the model is theirs to pick. My key never touches customer data.
Pricing
Maker at $12, then $19 / $39 / $79 per month, billed through Paddle.
One of ten
TrueMargin is one of ten small products I am building in public. Eight of them share a common core and one visual language, so an improvement made for one reaches the others.
Every number follows the same rules across the money products: an unknown value shows as —, never 0, and dates spell out the month, because 01/02/2026 is two different days to a US merchant and a UK one.
Where it stands
As of 11 October 2026: In development and not launched. 46 of 57 build tasks done.
