A11yLog
Scan a WordPress or WooCommerce site for accessibility issues, fix what's fixable in its own HTML, and keep a dated log proving what changed. Not a JS overlay.

Demo site with sample content; the AI alt text shown is sample output. A scanning and fixing tool: it does not certify or guarantee legal compliance.
Context

What it does
A11yLog scans a WordPress or WooCommerce site with axe-core, then writes the fixes into the site’s own HTML — accessible names for links and buttons, alt text into the Media Library, list markup, meta-viewport — and records every change in a dated evidence log.
It is not an overlay. Overlays inject JavaScript over the DOM after load; their own one-star reviews are the argument against them.

Who it is for
Two groups, one product:
- Agencies running 5–50 WordPress/WooCommerce sites for clients, who need something to hand back when a client asks “did you actually fix the accessibility issues?”
- Web leads at universities and public bodies working to an ADA Title II deadline under state law, who answer to an auditor.
The evidence
On 2026-09-03 I scanned 30 live WooCommerce storefronts with axe-core 4.13.0 through Playwright and Chromium, homepage only, automated checks only.
| Measure | Result |
|---|---|
| Domains tried / WordPress / WooCommerce scanned | 59 / 33 / 30 |
| Sites with at least one serious issue | 27 / 30 |
| Sites with at least one critical issue | 10 / 30 |
| Sites with no automated issues at all | 3 / 30 |
Worth stating plainly: Deque, who build axe-core, say it finds on average 57% of WCAG issues automatically. The rest needs a person. A scan is a starting point, not a verdict.
The promise, and its limits
“Find, fix, and prove what you fixed.”
A11yLog never says compliant, WCAG certified, ADA compliant or lawsuit-proof — not in the UI, a PDF, an email, the listing, or a code string. That rule is enforced in the codebase, not just in the copy.
Pricing
Free scanning, then $79 / $149 / $249 per year through Freemius.
One of ten
A11yLog is one of ten small products I am building in public. Eight of them share a common core and one visual language, so an improvement made for one reaches the others.
Where it stands
As of 11 October 2026: In development and not launched. 52 of 63 build tasks done.
