The first explains how the first eight products were chosen: a WordPress plugin, two Shopify apps, two web apps, two iOS apps and a Mac app. Every idea is scored on the same seven criteria, combined into one weighted score in which distribution carries more weight than any other. The eight were locked on 4 September 2026. On 5 September, 96 new candidates were scored against that portfolio to try to beat it, and none reached 6.0. The order matters: the eight were not picked from the 96 after the fact. The post lays out the rubric, so the reasoning can be checked, not only the result.
